ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
A. CALL TO ORDER
An adjourned regular meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga City Council, Fire Protection District and Redevelopment Agency
was held on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, in Celebration Hall (South) at the Rancho Cucamonga Cultural Center located al
12505 Cultural Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. Mayor Pro TemNice ChairmanNice President L. Dennis
Michael called the meeting to order at 8:12 a.m.
Present were Councilmembers/Boardmembers/Agencymembers: Rex Gutierrez, Sam Spagnolo and Diane Williams and
Mayor Pro TemNice ChairmanNice President L. Dennis Michael. Mayor/PresidenUChairman Donald J. Kurth arrived at
8:14 a. m.
Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; Jim Markman, City Attorney; Pamela Easter, Assistant City Manager; John
Gillison, Deputy City Manager/Administrative Services; Mahdi Aluzri, Deputy City Manager/Community Development;
James Troyer, Planning Director; Linda D. Daniels, Redevelopment Agency Director; Kevin McArdle, Community Services
Director; Peter Bryan, Fire Chief; Robert Karalsu, Library Director; Chief Joe Cusimano, Rancho Cucamonga Police
Department; Trang Huynh, Building and Safety Offcial; Dave Blevins, Public Works Services Director; Joe Pulcinella,
Animal Services Director; Tamara Lane, Finance Director; Fabian Villenas, Principal Management Analyst; Erika Lewis-
Huntley, Management Analyst II and Debra McKay, Records Manager/Assistant City Clerk. Mark Steuer, Director
Engineering Services/City Engineer arrived at 8:50 p.m.
The meeting was facilitated by Dr. Bill Mathis and the scribe was Janice Mathis. Also in attendance was Ray Patchett
