This letter is to confirm our understanding cf the terms and objectives of
our engagement and the nature and linitati.ons of the services we will provide.
We will examine the balance sheet of the Rancho Cucamonga Conmunity Foundation
as of June 30, 1988, and the related statement of revenues, expenditures and
changes in fund balance for [he fourteen months then ended. Our report on
the financial statements is presently expected to read as follows:
We have examined the balance sheet of the Rancho Cucamonga Commmunity
Foundation as of June 30, 1988 end the related statement of revenues,
expenditures and changes in fund balance far the fourteen months Lhen
ended. Our examination was made in accordance with generally accepted
auditing standards and, accordingly, included such tests of the accounting
records and such other auditing procedures as we considered ~eeo=~

Our charges for these services will be described on monthly billings as the
work progresses. Our invoices are due and payable upon presentation. Our
fees for this engagement will be based on our hourly rates Dlus out-of-pocket
expenses. We estimate our fee for this engagement to be $700, Our rates
presently range from $40.00 per hour for general accounting services to $110.00
per hour for comprehensive tax and financial planning, consulting, and review.
We welcome any inquiries you might have into the nature of our charges, if
