Don Hardy of P. A.R. C. gave an update of their Concerts-in-the-Park
expenditures and stated [hat they hays had six par Eor~anees to date and
have averaged erpend iturns of 9233 for each perforsance. He stated that
there axe tro core perforaances and he anticipates an ezpenditure of
app roxivate ly $525. To-date a eotal of $1400 has been expended. Nr. Hardy

cash basis) of the Rancho Cucamonga Crnmmity Fouundation as of June 30, 1988, and

1. Oranization
T!;e Far~tu, Cuc~v:nnga Cuimnu~aty Fourdation (the Foundation) is a California
nonprofit public benefit crorporation Founded for the purpose of lessening the
burdens of government and praroting and supporting the cultural, recreational
and human services needs of the City of Rancho Cucamonga. The Foundation is
erertgrt fmn federal and state incx~!e tsxos.
2. Summary of significant accounting policies
Donations are zecozded when received and expenses aze recorded when the
liability is incurred. Contributions by the Foundation aze rewzded when
approved by the Board of Directors.
3. Deferred donations -restricted
An individual contributed E8, 000 to the Foundation to be used exclusively
for the preservation of local folklore. As of June 30, 1988, m fords have
• been expended for this purpose.
4. Mayor's Charity Ball
As a result of the Foundation's sponsorship of the 1988 Mayor's Charity
Ball, proceeds of E48,278 benefiting the Foundation were realized while E21,791
of expanses cuere incurred.
S. Foundation contributions and mmStmentr
During the period, E2,600 was paid to the Alta Lrna High School
Restoration Cortmlttee to assist in the school's auditorium restoratim. Also,
on July 22, 1908 a letter of intent was signed by the Foundation confinN.ng
the participation of a private consultant on behalf of the Foundation with
the Alta Lana High School Restoration Camd.ttee. 'fie Fcundation will pay the
consultant E$DO per month for six months starting Septenber 7988.
