A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA CERTIFYING THAT RANCHO
CUCAMONGA HAS THE RESOURCES TO FUND THE MATCHING
FUNDS FORTHE BIKE LANE UPGRADE PROJECT FOR HAVEN
AVENUE AND MILLIKEN AVENUE AS SUBMITTED FOR THE
CONGESTION MITIGATION/AIR QUALITY PROGRAM AND
AFFIRMING ITS COMMITMENT TO IMPLEMENT THE PROJECT
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCHEDULE AS SUBMITTED
WHEREAS, Rancho Cucamonga desires to include the Haven Avenue and Milliken
Avenue Bicycle Lane Upgrade Project in the Congestion Mitigation/Air Quality Program (CMAQ);
and
WHEREAS, Rancho Cucamonga warrants that the necessary local match funds are
available for this project; and
WHEREAS, Rancho Cucamonga is committed to implementing the project schedule
for the proposed work as submitted in the CMAQ Proposal; and
WHEREAS, the San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG), as agency
responsible for administering the CMAQ Program for the San Bernardino County South Coast Air
Basin, requires an approved Resolution from the governing body of the Lead Agency for all projects
included in the CMAQ Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Rancho
Cucamonga does hereby:
Affirm its commitment to the Haven Avenue and Milliken Avenue Bicycle
Lane Upgrade Project as proposed in the Congestion Mitigation/Air
Quality Program (CMAQ) Proposal; and
Warrant that the required local match funds are committed and available
for this project; and
Commit that the City of Rancho Cucamonga, as Lead Agency for the
projects, will carry out the projects consistent with the project
implementation schedule.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 1st day of December, 1999.
