A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, RESTRICTING THE
HOURS OF PUBLIC ACCESS FOR ALL PROPERTY OWNED
AND OPERATED BY THE CITY AS DAY USE ONLY
A. Recitals
1. To maintain and preserve for the public use all property owned or operated by
the City and all facilities and equipment thereon, it is necessary to restrict the hours of operation
and access for all property, buildings, and facilities owned or operated by the City.
2. Section 12.04.010 of the Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Code generally makes it
unlawful for any person to enter or remain in any park or other recreation facility owned or
operated by the City between the hours of ten p.m. and six a.m. of the following day unless
pursuant to an authorization issued by the City or as part of a City-sanctioned activity. No
similarly express restriction applies to other City property.
B. Resolution
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does hereby find,
determine, conclude, and resolve as follows:
1. This Council hereby specifically finds that all of the facts set forth in the Recitals,
Part A, of this Resolution are true and correct.
2. No person shall enter or remain in any property, building, or facility owned or
operated by the City, excepting public streets and alley ways, between the hours of ten p.m. and
six a.m. of the following day unless authorized by the City or as part of a City-sanctioned
activity.
