BACKGROUND: As part of the overall restructuring of City departmental responsibilities the Redevelopment Agency indicated a desire to become more active in economic development. In order for this to occur effectively the City Council requested the development of a job description for a Redevelopment Coordinator position for greater eephasls on these Agency programs. ANALYSIS: Staff has prepared a job description for the Redevelopment aor nator position which is commensurate with the direction 'roe the City Cot +cil. Also included for reference are the job descriptions of the Senior Redevelopment Analyst and the Redevelopment Analyst positions. The restructuring of the Redevelopment Agency staff would include the reclassification of Linda Daniels, current Senior Redevelopment Analyst, to the Redevelopment Coordinator position a:-. the hiring of a Redevalopment Analyst whose primary focus will be the marketing and promution programs for the Agency.
