HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-11 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 81-11 • A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA REGARDING ZONING DETERMINATION 81-01 - SNAPP - REQUESTING THAT A COIN-OPERATED CAR WASH BE FOUND SIMILAR IN NATURE TO USES IN THE C-1 (NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL) ZONE. WHEREAS, Alan Snapp requested that the Planning Commission determine whether or not a coin-operated car wash is similar to the uses listed in the C-1 zone; and WHEREAS, the C-1 zone does allow car washing in automobile service stations; and WHEREAS, the coin-operated car wash can provide a useful service to meet neighborhood shopping needs; and WHEREAS, a coin-operated car wash already in,a neighborhood shopping center within the C-1 zone, existed prior to, and after, incorporation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of Rancho Cucamonga does hereby find: • SECTION 1: Coin-operated car washes are similar in nature to the uses listed in the C-1 zone, and that they may be allowed in the C-1 zone subject to the approval of a Conditional Use Permit by the Planning Commission. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 28TH DAY OF JANUARY, 1981.
