HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-89 - Resolutions 0 RESOLUTION NO. 82-89 A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 82-17 FOR CHAFFEY COLLEGE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL LOCATED AT 9375 9TH STREET AND 8732 HELMS AVENUE IN THE GENERAL INDUSTRIAL CATEGORY (SUBAREA 3) WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of August, 1982, a complete application was filed by Chaffey College for review of the above-described project; and WHEREAS, on the 8th day of September, 1982, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider the above-described project. NOW, THEREFORE, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission resolved as follows: SECTION 1: That the following findings can be met: 1. That the proposed use is in accord with the General Plan, and the purposes of the zone in which the use is proposed; and • 2. That the proposed use, together with the conditions applicable thereto, will not be detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare, or materially injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity; and 3. That the proposed use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance. SECTION 2: That Conditional Use Permit No. 82-17 is approved subject to the following conditions: PLANNING DIVISION 1. Transportation must be provided to and from the site for all students by Chaffey College or by other means of public transportation not requiring on-site parking. No student parking will be allowed. 2. The maximum number of students enrolled in the programs offered at the site shall not exceed 45. 3. All class activities shall occur completely indoors. 4. Operation of the school shall not occur until all • Uniform Building Code and Title 19 of the State Fire Marshall 's regulations have been complied with. Resolution No. Page 2 • 5. Operation of the school shall not require more than the nine parking spaces allocated or cause adverse effects upon surrounding businesses. Should any problems arise, this C.U.P. will be brought back to the Commission for reconsideration and possible revocation of said permit. 6. Restrooms shall be provided inside each unit and a interior improvement plan shall be provided for review and approval by the Planning Division. 7. No outdoor storage of materials or equipment is permitted. 8. All City Codes and Ordinances shall be complied with at all times. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 8TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1982.
