AN-ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCID
CtEAMDNGA, CATXFORNIA, APPROVINS ET/WANDA SPBEIFIC PLAN
AMENDMENT 88-06, ADDING AMBUIANCE SERVICES AS A
CONDITIONALLY PE~MITi~D USE WITHIN THE OFFICE/PROFESSIONAL
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, on the 30th day of November 1988, t_he Planning Commission
held a duly noticed public hearing pursuant to Section 65854 of the California
Government Code and reommBrr]ed to the City Council addition of Ambulance
Services as a conditionally permitted use within the Office/Professional
District; and
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of January 1989, the City Council held a duly
advertised public hearing to Section 65854 of the California GoverTment Code.
SECTION 1:
The Rancho Cucamonga City Council h~s made the following
(a)
That the proposed Specific Plan Amendment provides for
the develo~eent of a cumprehensively planned urban
oa~.unity within the district that is superior to
development otherwise allowable under alternate
regulations.
(b)
That the proposed Specific Plan Amerament provides for
development within the District in a manner consistent
with the General Plan and with related develo[mBnt and
growthmanagement of the City; and
(c) That the proposed Specific Plan Amendment is consistent
with the objectives of the Etiwanda Specific Plan.
SECTION 2: The Rancho Cucamonga City Council has found that this
project will not crete a significant adverse impact on the environment and
approves issuance of a Negative Declaration on January 4, 1989.
SECT/ON 3: The City Council of the City of Randlo Cucamonga does
hereby ordain as follows:
That pursuant to Section 65850 through 65855 of the
California Government Code, that the City Council of
the City of Rancho Cucamonga approves on the 4th day of
January 1989, Etiwanda Specific Plan Amendment 88-06,
adding Ambllance Services as a conditionally permitted
use within the Officer/Professional District.

SECTION 4: The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City Clerk
shall cause the same to be published within fifteen (15) days after its passage
at least once in The Daily Report, a newspaper of general circulation published
in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, California.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 18th day of January, 1989.
