A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCID
CGCAMDNGA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND
SIGNING OF ~ SUPPI/}~T NO 006 TO LOCAL ~]S~CY -
S~ATE MASTER AGRRF~e]~T NO. STLPP-5420 FOR THE STATE-LOCAL
OF THE ~ AV~qUE EIREET ~ BEIWRFN
WHERFAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
(hereinafter referred to as "Local Agency"), has for its consideration and
execution the Program Supplement No. 006 to Local Agency - State Master
Agreement No. e5420 for the State-Local ~tion Partnership
Program authorizing re~t of State Share Funds for the construction of
the Rochester Avenue Street Improvements between Victoria Park Lane and Lark
Drive; and
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of Transportation,
District Office 8 (hereinafter referred to as "State") processes and monitors
State funded projects; and
WHEREAS, as a condition to reimbursement payment of State Share funds
for said projects, the Local Agency shall approve and execute said Program
Supplement No. 006.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANC~O CUCAMONGA,
does hereby resolve to:
1. Authorize the Execution of program Supplement No. 006 to Local
Agency - State Master Agreement No. STLPP-5420 for the State-
Local Transportation Partm_rship Program for the reimbarsement
of State Share Funds for the construction of the Rochester
Avenue Street Improvements between Victoria Park Lane and Lark
Drive; and
2. To authorize the Mayor to sign said Supplement and direct the
City Clerk to attach a certified copy of this Resolution, as
well as type in the R~solution Number and date in the blanks in
the third block of said Supplement and for the return of the
original copies of said Supplement to the State of California
Department of Transportation along with the certified copy of
this Resolution.
BE IT FURTKSR RESOLV~] that the Local Agency shall also comply with
the "Special Covenants or Remarks" attached to said supplement including:

1. It is mutually understood between the parties that this contract
may have been written before ascertaining the availability of
legislative appropriation of funds, for the mutual benefit of
both parties, in order to avoid program and fiscal delays that
would occur if the agreement were executed after that
determination w-us made.
The total amount of State-Local Transportation Partnership funds
paltable by the State shall not exceed $40,566.00 to be encumbered and
reimbursed as follows:
FY 91-92 $40,566.00
This agreement is valid and enforceable only if sufficient funds are
made available by the California State Legislature.
Any subsequent State t~p funding changes will be made through
a revised finance letter.
