A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCMO CIgCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE
ANNEXAT/ON OF CERTAIN T"I~RITORY TO IANIlgCAPE
MA/NI~qANCE DISTRICT NO. 3B AND STREET LIGHTING
MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NOS. 1 AND 6 FOR PARCRr.q
NUMBERED 1 THROUGH 8, 10, 11 AND 13 THRfX/]H 15 OF
PARCEL MAP 13724
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
California, has previously formed a special maintenance district pursuant to
the terms of the "~ping and Lighting Act of 1972", being Division 15,
Part 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, said
special maintenance district known and designated as Tandscape Maintenance
District No. 3B, Street Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 and Street
Lighting Maintenance District No. 6 (hereinafter referred to as the
'~aintenance District"); and
WHEREAS, the provisions of Article 2 of Chapter 2 of the
"~ping and Lighting Act of 1972" authorize the annexation of additional
territorytotheMaintenance District; and
WHERFAS, at this time the City Council is desirous to take
proceedings to annex the property described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this referenced to the Maintenance District; and
WHEREAS, all of the owners of property within the territory proposed
to be annexed to the Maintenance District have filed with the City Clerk their
written consent to the proposed annexation without notice and hearing or
filing of an Engineer's "Report".
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCMO COCAMIqGA
HEREBY RESOLVESAS FOLLg~S:
S~L~fION 1: That the above recitals are all true and correct.
S~C~ION 2: Tnat this legislative body hereby orders the annexation
of the property as shown in Exhibit "A" and the work program areas as
described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto to the Maintenance District.
SECTION 3: Tnat all future proceedings of the Maintenance District,
including the levy of all assessments, shall be applicable to the territory
annexed hereunder.
