WPmREAS, the City of Pand~ O~aa,,~ja (the City) is a party to
the Joint Po~xs A~reement creatin~ the California M~icipal nmuran~
Authority, dated May 21, 1986, and as su~ a ,.--.a.~r entity of the Califo~zda
Municipal Insurance Authority as that term is ~defined in the Joint Powers
WH~EAS, in order to transact business ur vote c~ a business of
the Joint Powers Authority, the City my a[~oint a representative and
alternate representative to the Board of Directors of the California Municipal
Alternate City ~e~reeentative to the Board of Directo~B of the California
Municipal Insurance Authority.
RESOLVE further that the City Clerk be ir~tructed to inform the
Secretary to the Califcrnia Fmnicipal Insurance Authority of the above
appointment by sending a copy of tb~ Resolutic~ to California Municipal
Insurance Authcrity's office.
