HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-108 - Resolutions • RESOLUTION NO. 84-108 A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 84- 03-C - VOLBEDA - REQUESTING A CHANGE IN THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM LOW RESIDENTIAL TO LOW MEDIUM RESIDENTIAL FOR 4.78 ACRES OF LAND, LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF ARROW HIGHWAY BETWEEN SIERRA MADRE & COMET - APN 207-222-08 WHEREAS, on the 13th day of July, 1984, an application was filed and accepted on the above-described project; and WHEREAS, on the 26th day of September, 1984, the Planning Commission held a duly advertised public hearing pursuant to Section 65854 of the California Government Code. SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has made the following findings: 1. That the Amendment does not conflict with the Land Use Policies of the General Plan. 2. That the Amendment does promote goals of the Land • Use Element. 3. That the Amendment would not be materially injurious or detrimental to the adjacent properties. SECTION 2: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has found that this project will not create a significant adverse impact on the environment and recommends to City Council the issuance of a Negative Declaration on September 26, 1984. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That pursuant to Section 65850 to 65855 of the California Government Code, that the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby recommends approval on the 26th day of September, 1984, General Plan Amendment No. 84-03-C. 2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends that the City Council approve and adopt General Plan Amendment No. 84-03-C. 3.
