A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA JOINING THE INLAND EMPIRE
REGIONAL BROADBAND CONSORTIUM
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga has had an interest in the development of
broadband infrastructure for many years.
WHEREAS, the Inland Empire Regional Broadband Consortium desires to help close
the digital divide, promote the Inland Empire as a"smart region," and support the development
of Wi-Fi in public places; and
WHEREAS, participating in the Consortium will allow City staff to network with other
public agencies and businesses that share our interest in this issue.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California does
hereby approve the joining to the Inland Empire Regional Broadband Consortium.
