HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-53 - Resolutions • RESOLUTION NO. 85-53 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, DENYING TENTATIVE TRACT MAP NO. 12589. WHEREAS, Tentative Tract Map No. 12589, hereinafter "Map" has been submitted by James Sisco, applicant, for the purpose of subdividing the Real Property situated in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, County of San Bernardino, State of California, described as a custom lot subdivision of 10 lots on 7.5 acres of land in the Very Low Residential District, generally located at the northerly extension of Layton Street, north of Manzanita Drive, west of Amethyst Street - APN 1062-071-13, into 10 lots; and WHEREAS, said map has been reviewed by the Technical Review and Design Review Committees pursuant to the provisions of the Development Code; and WHEREAS, the subject property does not have secondary access for emergency vehicles and does not have necessary easements for water lines; and • WHEREAS, said project fails to meet Sections 17.08.050 C2 and C4 (Absolute Policies) and 17.08.090 C3 and C10 (General Design Guidelines), of the Development Code; and WHEREAS, said applicant has not provided appropriate easements and/or offers of dedication necessary for construction of required off-site improvements; and WHEREAS, the map came before the Planning Commission for public hearing and action on April 10, 1985, and NOW, THEREFORE, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission Resolved as follows: SECTION 1: The Planning Commission makes the following findings in regard to Tentative Tract No. 12589 and the Map thereof: The design or improvements of the Tentative Map are inconsistent with the provisions, intent and purpose of the Development Code, which was adopted to implement certain primary goals, policies, and objectives of the General Plan. SECTION 2: Tentative Tract Map No. 12589, a copy of which is attached hereto, is hereby denied without prejudice. • • APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 10TH DAY OF APRIL, 1985.
