HomeMy WebLinkAbout86-22 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 86-22 A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 85-29 FOR AN AMBULANCE SERVICE FACILITY LOCATED AT 8270 "M" FOOTHILL BOULEVARD IN THE GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT WHEREAS, on the 11th day of October, 1985, a complete application was filed by Trans Medical for review of the above-described project; and WHEREAS, on the 12th day of February, 1986, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider the above-described project. NOW, THEREFORE, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission resolved as follows: SECTION 1: That the following findings can be met: 1. That the proposed use is in accord with the General Plan, the objectives of the Development Code, and the purposes of the district in which the site is located. 2. That the proposed use, together with the conditions applicable thereto, will not be detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare, or materially injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity. 3. That the proposed use complies with each of the applicable provisions of the Development Code. SECTION 2: That this project will not create adverse impacts on the environment and that a Negative Declaration is issued on February 12, 1986. SECTION 3: That Conditional Use Permit No. 85-29 is approved subject to the following conditions: PLANNING DIVISION: 1. A maximum of one (1) ambulance shall be permitted to operate from the service facility. 2. The parking area directly across from the service facility unit shall be restriped to reasonably accommodate the ambulance vehicle in a north/south configuration, allowing ease of ingress and egress. 3. Prior to any use of the project site or business activity being commenced thereon, all conditions of approval shall be completed to the satisfaction of the City Planner and Building Official . Approval of this request shall not waive compliance with all sections of the Development Code and all other applicable City Ordinances in effect at the time of occupancy. 5. Any signs proposed for this Conditional Use Permit shall be designed in conformance with the Comprehensive Sign Ordinance and shall require review and approval by the Planning Division prior to installation of such signs and conform to the approved Uniform Sign Program for the center. 6. No activities shall be permitted which exceed the available parking or cause adverse effects upon surrounding businesses. If the operation of this facility causes adverse effects upon adjacent businesses or operations, the Conditional Use Permit shall be brought before the Planning Commission for their consideration and possible termination of such use. 7. Any future expansion or intensification of this use shall require a modification of this Conditional Use Permit. 8. This approval shall run with the applicant and shall become void upon a change of business ownership, or the use ceases. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 12TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1986.
