RESOLUTION NO. 87-89
RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION
RECOMMENDING TO THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY THAT THE
PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE RANCHO REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
AMENDMENT NO. 1 BE APPROVED, AND MAKING ITS REPORT AND
RECOMMENDATION AS TO THE CONFORMITY OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN WITH
THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, proceedings have been initiated by the Rancho Cucamonga
Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency" ) for the adoption of the Rancho
Redevelopment Porject, Redevelopment Plan Amendment No. 1 (the "Redevelopment
Plan" ) ; and
WHEREAS, said Redevelopment Plan has been prepared in accordance
with Community Redevelopment Law (California Health and Safety Code Section
33000 et seq. ) ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 33356 of the California Health
and Safety Code, the Redevelopment Plan is to be submitted to the Planning
Commission for its report and recommendation concerning the Redevelopment Plan
and its conformity to the community' s General Plan; -and
WHEREAS , the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has reviewed the
proposed Redevelopment Plan and the Draft Environmental Impact Report
pertaining thereto; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Redevelopment Plan provides for land uses in
conformity with the General Plan and Zoning Ordinance of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Rancho Cucamonga Planning
Commission as follows:
1. The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission hereby affirms its
review of the Draft Environmental Impact Report and finds and
determines that the proposed Redevelopment Plan is in conformity
with the General Plan of the City of Rnacho Cucamonga.
2. The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission hereby finds and
determines that the location, purpose and extent of any
acquisition or disposition of real property for street, square,
park or other public purpose by the Agency for the purposes of
carrying out the proposed Redevelopment Plan conforms to the
General Plan of the City of Rancho Cucamonga.

3. The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission hereby recommends
approval of the proposed Redevelopment Plan.
4. The Secretary of the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission is
hereby authorized and directed to transmit a copy of this
Resolution . tq.. the : Rancho. Cucamonga. City Council and to the
Agency as prescribed in Sections 33346 and 33347 of the Health
and'Safety Code.

I, Brad Buller, Deputy Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced, passed, and adopted by the Planning Commission of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held
on the 8th day of April, 1987, by the following vote-to-wit:
