HomeMy WebLinkAbout88-65 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 88-65 A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF VICTORIA COMMUNITY PLAN AMENDMENT 88-03, TO MODIFY THE LOW MEDIUM AND MEDIUM RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS WHEREAS, on the 13th day of April , 1988, the Planning Commission held a duly advertised public hearing pursuant to Section 65654 of the California Government Code. SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has made the following findings: 1. That the Amendment will provide for development of a comprehensively planned urban community within the District that is superior to development otherwise allowable under alternate regulations; and 2. That the Amendment will provide for development within the District in a manner consistent with the General Plan and with related development and growth management policies of the City; and 3. That the Amendment will provide for the construction, improvement, or extension of transportation facilities, public utilities, and public services required by development within the District. SECTION 2: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has found that this project will not create a significant adverse effect on the environment and recommends to the City Council the issuance of a Negative Declaration on April 13, 1988. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That pursuant to Section 65850 to 65855 of the California Government Code, that the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby recommends approval of Victoria Community Plan Amendment 88-03. 2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends that the City Council approve and adopt Victoria Community Plan Amendment 88-03 to modify the Community Plan per the attached Ordinance.
