A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING AN INTERIM
POLICY REGARDING WALLS ALONG THE FOOTHILL FREEWAY
CORRIDOR
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds it desirable to promote a
consistent wall appearance along the Foothill Freeway corridor to strengthen
the image and identity of Rancho Cucamonga; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds this Resolution necessary to
give property owners and developers notice of this policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga does hereby declare their policy to be:
1. That a consistent visual appearance shall be
provided along the future Foothill Freeway corridor
(Route 30) through coordination of wall treatments.
2. That all new development adjacent to the future
Foothill Freeway corridor (Route 30) shall design
their wall treatment abutting the corridor to be
compatible with the surrounding area.

I, Brad Buller, Deputy Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced, passed, and adopted by the Planning Commission of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held
on the 13th day of April , 1988, by the following vote-to-wit:
AYES: COMMISSIONERS: TOLSTOY, CHITIEA, BLAKESLEY, EMERICK
NOES: COMMISSIONERS: NONE
ABSENT: COMMISSIONERS: MC NIEL
