A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
SIGN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT 88-01 , AMENDING TITLE 14 OF THE
RANCHO CUCAMONGA MUNICIPAL CODE TO MODIFY REGULATIONS FOR
NEON AND WINDOW SIGNS
WHEREAS, on the 11th day of May, 1988, the Planning Commission held a
duly advertised public hearing pursuant to Section 65864 of the California
Government Code.
SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has made the
following findings:
1. That the Amendment will provide for development of a
comprehensively planned urban community within the
District that is superior to development otherwise
allowable under alternate regulations; and
2. That the Amendment will provide for development
within the District in a manner consistent with the
General Plan and with related development and growth
management policies of the City; and
3. That the Amendment will provide for the
construction, improvement, or extension of
transportation facilities, public utilities, and
public services required with the District.
SECTION 2: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has found that
this project will not create a significant adverse effect on the environment
and recommends to City Council the issuance of a Negative Declaration on May
11 , 1988.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That pursuant to Section 65850 to 65855 of the •
California Government Code, that the Planning
Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
recommends approval of Sign Ordinance Amendment- 88-
01.
2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends that the
City Council approve and adopt Sign Ordinance
Amendment 88-01 to modify the Municipal Code per the
attached Ordinance.

regularly introduced, passed, and adopted by the Planning Commission of the
