HomeMy WebLinkAbout88-161 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 88-161 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING POLICIES REGARDING LANDSCAPE AND IRRIGATION DRAWINGS WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds it necessary to establish certain policies regarding landscape and irrigation drawings to implement the City's goals and objectives. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does hereby declare their policy to be: 1. The developer is responsible for the proper installation and completion of all required landscaping. 2. The developer shall submit landscape and irrigation plans for review and approval to the Planning Division in a manner prescribed by the City Planner. Said plans shall be prepared by a registered Landscape Architect whose stamp shall be conspicuously affixed to said plans. 3. The developer shall retain the services of a registered Landscape Architect to provide inspection of the installation of the landscape and irrigation system. It shall be the Landscape Architect's responsibility to inspect or direct the inspection of the installation of plants, materials and irrigation systems in compliance with the approved plans and with City Standards, requirements and conditions of approval . 4. The developer's Landscape Architect shall notify the Planning Division immediately upon the installation of any material or equipment other than shown on the approved plans. All changes are subject to approval by the Planning Division. 5. Upon completion of the project, the developer's Landscape Architect shall submit a written report to the Planning Division including: a. A certification in a form prescribed by the City Planner that the work was completed in accordance with the approved plans and with City standards, except as listed in (b) below. b. A listing of any deviations from the approved plans or from City standards and the date of approval and by whom in the Planning Division approval was granted for said deviation. c. Any deviations to the originally approved plans were made only after having first obtained written approval from the City Planning Division.
