HomeMy WebLinkAbout89-38 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 89-38 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A TIME EXTENSION FOR DEVELOPMENT REVIEW NO. 86-45 LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF PITTSBURGH AVENUE, SOUTH OF 6TH STREET IN THE INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT, AND MAKING FINDINGS IN SUPPORT THEREOF - APN: 229-263-3 & 4. WHEREAS, a request has been filed for a time extension for the above- described project, pursuant to Section 17.02.100; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conditionally approved the above- described industrial park development. SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has made the following findings: A. That prevailing economic conditions have caused a distressed market climate for development of the pro jec t. B. That current economic, marketing, and inventory conditions make it unreasonable to develop the project at this time. C. That strict enforcement of the conditions of approval regarding expirations would not be consistent with the intent of the Development Code. D. That the granting of said time extension will not be detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare, or materially injurious to properties or . improvements in the vicinity.
