HomeMy WebLinkAbout89-140 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 89-140 A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION, APPROVING A TIME EXTENSION FOR TENTATIVE TRACT 12659-2, 3, AND 4 - A RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION OF 135 SINGLE FAMILY LOTS AND 3 COMMON LOTS ON 67.67 ACRES OF LAND IN THE VERY LOW RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (1-2 DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE) OF THE ETIWANDA SPECIFIC PLAN, LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF ETIWANDA AVENUE AND 24TH STREET AND MAKING FINDINGS IN SUPPORT THEREOF - APN: 225-011-35 A. Recitals. (i ) Newton Realty has filed an application for the extension of Tentative Tract No. 12569-2, 3, and 4 as described in the title of this Resolution. Hereinafter in this Resolution, the subject Time Extension request is referred to as the application". (ii ) On November 13, 1985, this Commission adopted its Resolution No. 85-168, thereby approving, subject to specific conditions and time limits, Tentative Tract No. 12659. (iii ) The application is for the last possible extension of time for Tentative Tract No. 12659-2, 3, and 4. (iv) All legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution have occurred. B. Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby found, determined and resolved by the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as follows: 1. This Commission hereby specifically finds that all of the facts set forth in the Recitals, Part A, of this Resolution are true and correct. 2. Based upon substantial evidence presented to this Commission, including written and oral staff reports, this Commission hereby specifically finds as follows: (a) The previously approved Tentative Map is in substantial compliance with the City's current General Plan, Specific Plans, Ordinances, Plans, Codes and Policies; and (b) The extension of the Tentative Map will not cause significant inconsistencies with the current General Plan, Specific Plans, Ordinances, Plans, Codes and Policies; and PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 89-140 TIME EXTENSION FOR TT 12659 - NEWTON REALTY November 8, 1989 Page 2 (c) The extension of the Tentative Map is not likely to cause public health an safety problems; and (d) The extension is within the time limits prescribed by state law and local ordinance. 3. Based upon the findings and conclusions set forth in paragraphs 1 and 2 above, this Commission hereby grants a Time Extension for: Tract Applicant Expiration 12659-2, 3, and 4 Newton Realty November 13, 1990 4. The Secretary to this Commission shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 8TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1989.
