A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE TIME
EXTENSION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 87-24, A
7,160 SQUARE FOOT DAY CARE FACILITY IN THE LOW
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (2-4 DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE) ,
LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BASE LINE ROAD AND
HERMOSA AVENUE, AND MAKING FINDINGS IN SUPPORT THEREOF -
APN: 1077-041-57.
WHEREAS, the applicant has filed a timely request for a time
extension of the project as described above pursuant to Section 17.02.100(B)
of the Development Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conditionally approved the
above-described Conditional Use Permit on May 25, 1988, and granted a first
Time Extension on June 13, 1990.
SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has made the
following findings:
A. That prevailing economic conditions have caused a
distressed market climate for development of the
project.
B. That current economic, marketing, and inventory
conditions make it unreasonable to develop the
project at this time.
C. That strict enforcement of the conditions of
approval regarding expirations would not be
consistent with the intent of the Development Code.
D. That the granting of said time extension will not be
detrimental to the public health, safety or welfare
or materially injurious to properties or
improvements in the vicinity.
SECTION 2: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission hereby grants a
second Time Extension for:
