RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, GRANTING
CONSENT TO THE CITY OF ONTARIO TO RENEW THE
GREATER ONTARIO TOURISM MARKETING DISTRICT
(GOTMD)
WHEREAS, the City of Ontario is beginning the process to renew the Greater Ontario
Tourism Marketing District (GOTMD) pursuant to the Property and Business Improvement
District Law of 1994, Streets and Highways Code section 36600 et seq., to promote tourism and
the lodging businesses in the cities of Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ontario has requested consent to renew the
GOTMD in the City of Rancho Cucamonga with adoption of Ontario City Council Resolution No.
2016-022, dated March 15, 2016;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rancho
. Cucamonga, that:
Section 1: The above recitals are true and correct.
Section 2: The City Council consents to the City of Ontario renewing the GOTMD, which
District shall include the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
Section 3: The Clerk of the City Council is hereby directed to transmit a certified copy of
this Resolution to the City Clerk of the City of Ontario City Council.
Section 4: This Resolution is effective upon its adoption.
