HomeMy WebLinkAbout80-049C - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 80-049C A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CITY'S CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE FOR DESIGNATED CITY PERSONNEL A. Recitals. (i) This City Council, by its Resolution No. 80-049B, adopted November 15, 1989, enacted the Model Conflict of Interest Code promulgated by the California Fair Political Practices Commission (2 California Code of Regulations, Section 18730) . (ii) Since adoption of the City's Conflict of Interest Code, changes and alterations have been made with respect to the duties and responsibilities of various City employees, including changes in titles and class descriptions as well as the addition of new positions to the City staff. (iii) The City Council desires to amend the City's Conflict of Interest Resolution in order to provide appropriate reporting pursuant to the California Political Reform Act of 1974 (California Government Code, Section 81000, et. seq. ) . (iv) Pursuant to the provisions of California Government Code Section 87311, a duly noticed public hearing was concluded prior to the adoption of this Resolution. B. Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does hereby find, determine and resolve as follows: 1. In all respects as set forth in the Recitals, Part A, of this Resolution. 2. Appendix A of Resolution No. 80-0498 hereby is amended to read, in words and figures, as set forth in the amended Appendix A attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein as though fully set forth. 3. In all other respects, all provisions of Resolution No. 80-0498 shall remain in full force and effect. 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. This determination shall include a description of the consul- tant's duties and a statement of the extent of disclosure requirements. A copy of this determination shall be filed with the City Clerk and a copy forwarded to the City Council.
