A, CALL TO ORDER
An adjourned meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga City Council was held on Monday, August 22, 1994, in the
Trio Communities Conference Room of the Civic Center, located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho
Cucamonga, California. The meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m. by Mayor Dennis L. Stout.
Present were Councilmembers: William J. Alexander, Charles J. Buquet II, Rex Gutierrez, Diane Williams,
and Mayor Dennis L. Stout.
Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; Jerry B. Fulwood, Deputy City Manager; Deborah K. Clark,
Library Manager; Diane O'Neal, Management Analyst II; and Debra J. Adams, City Clerk.

B1. LIBRARY BOARD INTERVIEWS (1601-06 LIBRARY)
The City Council interviewed the following applicants:
John Harris
Jeffery Young
Laura J. Muna-Landa
Jackie Bolda
Ede Swistock
Gina Gregory
Wdliam Freeman
Chaing (John) Wang
Robert (Bob) Howdyshell
The applicants were all asked the same questions which are on file in the office of the City Clerk.
A break was taken from 7:00 p.m. and called back to order at 7:25 p.m. with all Councilmembers present.

B2. SELECTION OF LIBRARY BOARD OF DIRECTORS (1601o06 LIBRARY)
Mayor Stout stated each Councilmember has a ballot to cast their vote for five individuals. They will then be
submitted to the City Clerk who will tally the votes and display them on the flip chart.
The Council proceeded to vote and forwarded their ballot to the City Clerk who tallied the votes and recorded
same on the flip chart.
Mayor Stout announced the five Library Board of Directors
Laura J. Muna-Landa 4 votes
Jackie Bolda 4 votes
Ede Swistock 5 votes
Gina Gregory 3 votes
Robert Howdyshell 5 votes
C, COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
No communications were made from the public.
D. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION: Moved by Alexander, seconded by Williams to adjourn. Motion carded unanimously, 5-0. The
meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
