Special Meetinq

A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga was held
February 9 and 10, 1991 at the Lake Arrowhead Hilton, Lake Arrowhead, California.
The meeting was called to order the morning of February 9, 1991.
Present were Councilmembers: William J. Alexander, Charles J. Buquet II, Diane
Williams, Pamela J. Wright, and Mayor Dennis L. Stout.
Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; Linda D. Daniels, Deputy City
Manager; Jerry B. Fulwood, Deputy City Manager; with the meeting facilitated by
Len Wood of Len Wood & Associates.
B. DISCUSSION
Day i (February 9) began with discussion from City Councilmembers and staff
pertaining to developing the "ideal team", roles and responsibilities, working
relationships and communications with an overview of fiscal challenges facing the
City of Rancho Cucamonga presented by Jack Lam, City Manager. (0701-01 COUNCIL)

Day 2 (February 10) began with the following department heads participating in
the discussion: Jim Hart, Administrative Services Director; Susan Neely, F~nance
Officer; Joe Schultz, Community Services Director; Jerry Grant, Building
Official; Joe O'Neil, City Engineer; Brad Buller, City Planner; Dennis Michael,
Fire Chief; Bruce Zeiner, Police Captain; and Debra J. Adams, City Clerk.
The discussion began with Mayor Stout presenting an overview of what took place
during the first day of the workshop. The entire group participated in
discussions relative to Rancho Cucamonga in the year 2000, developing goals and
objectives and establishing the City's top goals.

The workshop concluded on Sunday, February 10, at 12:00 Noon.
