Councilmen Kin2 expressed that the report was a good one but =ha~ in his opinion, it d~d not deal with the whole story. He felt that before we could add officers, we needed =o know tTpes of crimes and crimes per capita, etc. Councilm~n King also stated there was a relationship between proactive patrols and the effect it has upon certain types of cr~mes, and he would wan= to investigate that. Heyor Stout stated the goals were simply non-budgetary and felt that =hess ~uidelines should be adopted. MOTION: Carried 3-1-1. (Kin2 no and Buquet absent.)
