CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
Special Meeting
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga met on
Wednesday, April 29, 1987, in the Lions Park Community Contar, 9161 Base Line
Road, Rancho Cuce~aonga. The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. by Mayor
Dennis L. Stout.
Present were Councilmembers: Deborau N. Brown, Coatlea J. Buquet II, Jeffrey
King, Pamela J. Wright, and Mayor Dennis L. Stout.
Also present were: City Manager, Lauren M. Wasserman; Community Development
Director, Jack Lam; City Planner, Brad Bullet; Assistant City Manager, Robert
Rizzo.

B1. INTERVIEWS OF CANDIDATES FOR PLANNING COMMISSION POSITION:
A. David Blakesley
B. Gary Beeman
C. James Hampton
D. James Bookhout
B2. SELECTION 01[ PLANNING COMMISSIONER TO FILL UI~"XPIRED TERM ENDING JANUARY 1,
1991.
143TION: Moved by Brown to nominate David Blake slay. Moved by Wright to
nominate James Hampton. Moved by Buquet to nominate James Bookhour. There
being no more neminations, nominations were closed.

Stout Blakesley
Motion carried 3-2 for Blakesley. Councilmember Wright requested that the vote
be made unanimous.
MOTION: Moved by ~4right, seconded by Brown to nominate David Blakesley as
Plannlng Commissioner. Motion carried unanimously 5-0.
B3. Mayor Stout requested that the Public Safety Committee be put on rue May 6,
1987, City Council Maetlng Agenda under Council business.
