CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
Adjourned Meeting
An adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga wa~
held in the Lions Park Community Center, 9161 Base Line Road, on Monday, July
18, 1983. The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by Mayor Jon D.
MikeIs.
Present were Councilmembers: Richard M. Dahl, Charles J. Buquet II, Phillip
D. Sehlosser, James C. Frost, and Mayor Jon D. Mikels.
Also present were: City Manager, Lauren M. Wasserman; Assistant City Manager,
Jim Robinson; Finance Director, Harry Empey; Community Development Director,
Jack Lam; City Engineer, Lloyd Hubbs; and City Planner, Rick Gomez.
Mayor MikeIs stated the purpose of this adjourned meeting was to conduct a
general public hearing to determine the allocation of Revenue Sharing funds
for Fiscal Year 1983-84.
City Manager Lauren Wasserman recommended that the City Council appropriate EP (1)
15 October 1, 1983 - September 30, 1984 (revenue sharing) for the purpose of
law enforcement services in whatever mount the City of Ranthe Cucamonga
ultimately receives.
Mayor Mikels opened the meeting for public hearing for anyone wishing to
respond to the City Council's intent to utilize revenue sharing funds for law
enforcement.
No public testimony was received and the public hearing was subsequently
closed.
Motion: Moved by Dahl, seconded by Schlosser to allocate the FY1983-84
revenue sharing funds to support the City's law enforcement services. Motion
carried unanimously 5-0.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion: Moved by Buquet, seconded by Dahl to adjourn to a Redevelopment
Agency meeting. Motion carried unanimously 5-0. The meeting adjourned at
7:10 p.m.
