Adj ourned Meeting
1. CALL TO ORDER
An adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga met on
Wednesday, June 30, 1982, in the Lions Park Community Center, 9161 Base Line
Road, Rancho Cucamonga. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor
Jon D. Mikels.
Present were Councilmembers: Richard M. Dahl, Charles J. Buquet II, Phillip D.
Schlosser, James C. Frost, and Mayor Jon D. Mikels.
Also present were: City Manager, Lauren M. Wasserman; Assistant City Manager,
James Robinson; Community Development Director, Jack Lam; City Engineer, Lloyd
Hubbs; Community Services Director, Bill Holley; and Finance Director, Harry
Empey.
2. REVIEW OF PROPOSED 1982 PROGRAM OF SERVICE
2A. OVERVIEW AND UPDATE OF PROPOSED BUDGET. Staff report
Wasserman, City Manager.
Mr. Wasserman reviewed the following points:
1. Adjustments in budget since the June 7, 1982 meeting.
2. Positions unfunded in 1982 proposed budget.
3. Major capital expenditures deleted from 1982 proposed budget.

2B. REDUCTION IN STATE SUBVENTIONS. Staff report by Harry Empey, Finance Di-
rector.
2C. REOUEST FROM RANCHO CUCAMONGA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR FUNDING. The Chamber
of Commerce has requested a subsidy of $22,000 for the next fiscal year for
services provided to the City. Staff report by Lauren M. Wasserman, City Man-
ager.
ACTION: Council directed staff to draft a contract for Council's considera-
tion.
2D. ADOPTION OF INTERIM PROGRAM OF SERVICE FOR FISCAL YEAR 1982-83.
MOTION: Moved by Buquet, seconded by Frost to approve the Interim Program
Service for 1982-83. Motion carried unanimously 5-0.

MOTION: Moved by Buquet, seconded by Dahl to adjourn to an Executive
Motion carried unanimously 5-0. The meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
