HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980/06/26 - Minutes - Special June 26, 1980 CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA CITY COUNCIL MINUTES Special Meetin~ A special meeting of the City Council was held in the City Offices, 9320 Base Line Road, Suite C, Rancho Cucamonga, on Thursday, June 26, 1980. The meeting was called to order at 7:34 a.m. by Mayor pro-rem Bridge. Present: Councilmen James C. Frost, Jon D. Mikels, and Mayor pro-tem Arthur H. Bridge. Also present: City Manager, Lauren M. Wasserman. Absent: Councilmen Michael A. Palombo and Mayor Phillip D. Schlosser. The purpose of the special meeting was to adopt Resolution No. 80-63 which establishes the new salary schedule, and to also to introduce for first reading Ordinance No. 110 which establishe~ a comprehensive system of personnel adminis- tration. A. ORDINANCE NO. 110. (1) City Clerk read the title of ORDINANCE NO. 110, first reading. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ESTA- BLISHING A COMPREHENSIVE SYSTEM OF PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION AND DELEGATING ADMINISTRATION THEREOF TO THE CITY MANAGER. Motion: Moved by Frost, seconded by Mikels to waive further reading. Motion carried unanimously 3-0-2. Mayor pro-rem Bridge set July 2 for second reading. B. RESOLUTION NO. 80-63. (2) Motion: Moved by Mikels, seconded by Frost to approve Resolution No. 80-63 and to waive entire reading. Motion carried 3-0-2. City Clerk Wasserman read title of Resolution No. 80-63. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, RESCINDING PORTIONS OF RESOLUTIONS 79-48 AND 79-49 RELATING TO SALARY RANGES ONLY AND ESTABLISHING REVISED PAY RANGES FOR ALL FULL AND PART TIME EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA TO BE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1980.
