An adjourned meeting of the City Council was held in the Lion'S Park Community Center, 9161 Base Line Road, Rancho Cucamonga, on Monday, June 9, 1980. The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. by Mayor Phillip D. Schlosser. Present: Councilmen James C. Frost, Jon D. Mikels, Michael A. Palombo, Arthur H. Bridge, and Mayor Phillip D. Schlosser. Also present: City Manager, Lauren Wasserman; Assistant City Attorney, Robert Dougherty; Assistant City Manager, Jim Robinson; Community Development Director, Jack Lam; City Engineer, Lloyd Hubbs; Community Services Director, Bill Holley; Finance Director, Harry Empey; Barry Hogan, Senior Planner; Sheriff's Captain, Tom Wickum; Building Official, Jerry Grant; and Inspector Keith Larson, Sheriff's Department- l) BUSINESS Presentation of Department Budget summaries was made. PUBL.____IC COMMENT. Dr. Armando Navarro requested additional funding for two employees to be hired full time to work on Project Esperanza and to provide continuity which is essential to the success of the project. Council directed staff to preoare an analysis and present it at the June 18 City Council meeting. Council determined it would not be necessary to meet on the 16th of June. Adoption of the 1980-81 Budget would be set for the June 18 City Council meeting- ADJOURNMENT- There being no further business, the meeting was declared adjourned at 9:30 p.m. by Mayor Phil%ip Schlosser.
