HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978/06/28 - Minutes - Adjourned June 28, 1978 CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA COMBINED CITY COUNCIL-PLANNING COMMISSION Adjourned Meeting CALL TO ORDER A joint meeting of the City Council and Planning Commission was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Mayor James C. Frost and Chairman Herman Rempel. ROLL CALL Present: Council members Phillip Schlosser, Jon Mikels, Charles West, Michael Palombo, and Mayor James C. Frost. Commissioners Laura Jones, Peter Tolstoy, Jorge Garcia, and Chairman Herman Rempel. Absent: Planning Commissioner Richard Dahl. PURPOSE Planning Commission Chairman Rempel introduced Mr. John Blayney, the City's Planning Consultant, who presented a summary of the Alternative Sketch Plan #4. Mr. Blayney stated that Alternative Sketch Plan #4 is a combination of the various elements which have been discussed at pre- vious public meetings. In addition, Mr. Blayney noted that Sketch Plan #4 includes a number of suggestions which have been presented by the public and have been discussed in considerable detail. Comments concerning the alternatives were offered by: Tommy Stephens, San Bernardino County Planning Department. Dr. H. Anthony, Fomer Head of the Planning Department, Cai Poly, Pomona. ADJOURNMENT Motion: Moved by Schlosser, seconded by Mikels to adjourn to 7:00 p.m. on June 29, 1978 at the County Library.
