CALL TO ORDER A special meeting of the City of Rancho Cucamonga City Council was held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, in the Tri -Communities Conference Room at City Hall located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. Mayor Michael called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m. Council Member Alexander led the Pledge of Allegiance. Present were Council Members: Bill Alexander, Diane Williams (arrived at 3:04 p.m.), Lynne Kennedy, Mayor Pro Tem Sam Spagnolo and Mayor L. Dennis Michael. Also present were: John Gillison, City Manager; Elisa Cox, Deputy City Manager, Civic & Cultural Services; Linda Troyan, City Clerk Services Director; Michael Parmer, Management Analyst I and Erika Lewis -Huntley, Management Analyst III. Others present were: Art Garcia, Consultant, Special Service for Groups; Erica Shehane, Consultant, Special Service for Groups; James Scheu, Consultant, San Antonio Regional Hospital; and Maya Dunne, Consultant, Maya Dunne and Associates. B. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS There were no public communications. C. ITEM OF DISCUSSION C1. VERBAL UPDATE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE HEALTHY RC EVALUATION PLAN. John Gillison, City Manager, introduced Erika Lewis -Huntley, Management Analyst III and Michael Parmer, Management Analyst I, who provided a PowerPoint presentation on the Healthy RC Evaluation Plan. The PowerPoint presentation went over the Road Map for Promoting Health, Equity and Sustainability Change in Ranch Cucamonga. Also in attendance were Art Garcia, Consultant, Special Service for Groups; Erica Shehane, Consultant, Special Service for Groups; James Scheu, Consultant, San Antonio Regional Hospital; and Maya Dunne, Consultant, Maya Dunne and Associates who reviewed the plan and responded to questions. Erika Lewis -Huntley, Management Analyst III, recognized Healthy RC Committee members in the audience. Dr. Maxwell Ohikuare, Chief Medical Officer, San Bernardino County Health Department, recognized and thanked City leaders and the community for their participation and efforts in Healthy RC. The final Healthy RC Evaluation Plan will be brought back to City Council for approval within 90 days. Council Members were asked to submit comments to staff prior to that date. D.
