A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
ATTESTATION OF VERACITY FOR THE RANCHO
CUCAMONGA MUNICIPAL UTILITY 2017 POWER SOURCE
DISCLOSURE ANNUAL REPORT AND POWER CONTENT
LABEL
WHEREAS, the Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Utility (RCMU) is a publicly-owned utility
in the state of California and is therefore subject to Senate Bill 1305, as amended by Assembly Bill
162, requiring retail suppliers of electricity to disclose sources of energy being used to the
California Energy Commission (CEC) and to consumers in the form of the Power Source
Disclosure Annual Report and the Annual Power Content Label; and
WHEREAS,the 2017 Power Source Disclosure Annual Report and Annual Power Content
Label has been submitted to the CEC, and the Annual Power Content Label has been posted on
the City's website for customers to review; and
WHEREAS, the 2017 Power Source Disclosure Annual Report includes an attestation
from an authorized agent of the City, under penalty of perjury, confirming the accuracy of the
information provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA,
HEREBY RESOLVES,
Section 1.: The City Council hereby certifies the 2017 Power Source Disclosure
Program Report and Annual Power Content Label.
Section 2.: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
Section 3.: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
