PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
Adjourned Meeting
February 25, 1998
Chairman Barker called the Adjourned Meeting of the City of Rancho Cucamonga Planning
Commission to order at 5:45 p.m. The meeting was held in the Rains Room at Rancho Cucamonga
Civic Center, 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. Chairman Barker then led
in the pledge of allegiance.

COMMISSIONERS: PRESENT: David Barker, Rich Macias, Larry McNiel, Peter Tolstoy
ABSENT: William Bethel
STAFF PRESENT: Shintu Bose, Deputy City Engineer; Brad Bullet, City Planner; Dan Coleman,
Principal Planner; Nancy Fong, Senior Planner; Rick Gomez, Community
Development Director; Lany Henderson, Principal Planner; Dan James, Senior
Civil Engineer; Betty Miller, Associate Engineer
DEVELOPER: Randall Lewis, Pat Loy - Lewis Homes; Barry Kamel- Seres Regis Group

NEW BUSINESS
A. UPDATE ON TERRA VISTA - LEWIS HOMES
Lewis gave an update as to their residential plans for 1998, including the Independence project and
three multi-family apartment projects. They also gave an update on commercial plans for 1998 and
the phasing of parks to complete the park system for Terra Vista. Lewis briefly discussed
infrastructure phasing for roads, storm drains, and trails.

The Planning Commission adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
