PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
Adjourned Meeting
March 2, 1994
Chairman Barker called the Adjourned Meeting of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
Planning Commission to order at 5 p.m. The meeting was held at the Tolstoy
residence, 9540 Hillside Road, Rancho Cucamonga, California.
ROLL CALL

David Barker, Heinz Lumpp, Larry McNiel,
John Melcher, Peter Tolstoy
ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Brad Buller, City Planner; Dan Coleman, Principal
Planner; Larry Henderson, Principal Planner
COMMISSION BUSINESS
A. 1994-1995 Work ProQram
The Planning Commission reviewed the draft program and agreed there should be
another meeting to discuss the specific work program items.
B. Awards Proqram
The Commission agreed to individually view the nominees on their own and let
staff know which ones are worthy of an award. A field trip to view the final
nominees will be set up once staff receives the first round of comments from
the Commissioners.
C. General Plan Land Use Analvsis
The Commission briefly discussed the possibility of doing a General Plan Land
Use Analysis of the Industrial and Commercial lands in the City. The purpose
would be to evaluate the current and future trends of development and how the
General Plan is set to respond to those trends.
D. Briefinq on Red Team
Brad Buller, City Planner, gave a brief overview of the purpose of the Red
Team.

The Planning Commission adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
