HomeMy WebLinkAbout19-014 - Resolution RESOLUTION NO. 19-014 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A FEE SCHEDULE FOR SIDEWALK VENDING PERMITS A. Recitals. 1. The California Government Code and the California Constitution allow the City to establish fees and charges for municipal services and regulatory programs, provided such fees and charges do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost to the City in providing the service to which the fee or charge applies. 2. Data indicating the estimated or actual cost to provide each service, for which the fees and charges set forth herein apply, was made available to the public at least ten (10) days prior to the date of the public hearing. Such data is on file with the City Clerk's Department. 3. On March 20, 2019, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the proposed fees. B. Resolution. The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga finds and resolves as follows: SECTION 1: The City Council hereby specifically finds that all of the facts set forth in the Recitals, Part A, of this Resolution are true and correct. SECTION 2: Based upon the data made available for this hearing, the City Council hereby specifically finds that the fees and charges set forth do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing the service for which the fee or charge be levied. SECTION 3: The City hereby adopts the following fees for services performed by the Finance Department relating to Business Licensing Functions: Title Description Fee Processing of Sidewalk Sidewalk Vending Permit— Vending Permits pursuant to $150 New RCMC Section 9.35 "Sidewalk Vending" Processing of Sidewalk Sidewalk Vending Permit— Vending Permit renewals $100 Renewal pursuant to RCMC Section 9.35 "Sidewalk Vending" SECTION 4: The fees set forth in this Resolution shall take effect April 1, 2019.
