This is the time and place for the general public to address the Animal Care Foundation on any item
listed on the agenda. State law prohibits the Animal Care Foundation from addressing any issue not
previously included on the Agenda. The Animal Care Foundation may receive testimony and set the
matter for a subsequent meeting. Comments are to be limited to five minutes per individual.

The following Consent Calendar items are expected to be routine and non-controversial. They
will be acted upon by the Animal Care Foundation Board at one time without discussion. Any
item may be removed by a Board Member or member of the audience for discussion.

B. Announcements and Presentations
1. Barbara announced promotional items such as mugs and tote bags are for
sale at the animal center.
2. Barbara said that the Furry Friends Flea Market will be held Saturday
March 10 and that the Kitten Nursery Shower will be Sunday March 18.
3 Animal Services Director Veronica stated that interviews for the Kitten
Nursery will be starting soon and the goal is to open the Kitten Nursery by
mid -April.
4. Veronica said the Foundation now has its own accountant and financial
books. She is also considering a couple of Donor Software Programs.
C. Public Communication
1. None.
D. Foundation Business
1. Develop options for Bequests and Trust donations on website.
2. Subcommittee for "Bone Appetito".
E. Identification of Items for the Next Meeting
1. Identify fundraisers
2. Guest Speaker
3. Suggestions for a display unit in lobby
