State law prohibits the Animal Care Foundation from addressing any issue not previously included on the Agenda. The Animal Care Foundation may receive testimony and set the matter for a subsequent meeting. Comments are to be limited to five minutes per individual. C.:`>ANNOUNCEMENTSICONSENT CALENDAR The following Consent Calendar items are expected to be routine and non-controversial. They will be acted upon by the Animal Care Foundation Board at one time without discussion. Any item may be removed by a Board Member or member of the audience for discussion. C1. Barbara announced that the Holiday Boutique made a total of$1,872.00. She also stated that the fundraiser Beer Kitty Kitty at Hamilton Brewery will be held April 6 and the Kitten Nursery Shower will be held April 281H 2. Nancy King announced "Paint Your Pet"fundraiser is March 2na 3. Veronica reported that Animal Center Staff is revamping the adoption process. She also stated that a San Bernardino Coalition of Animal Shelters has been formed and they will be having a vaccine microchip clinic Saturday February 9th. C. Public Communication 1. None D. Also in Attendance: Veronica Fincher, Animal Services Director Barbara Hansen, Animal Services Community Programs Specialist B. Announcements and Presentations 1. Board member Nancy King announced the Purple Easel Fundraiser raised $1474.00. 2. Barbara said that Halloween Pet Portraits made a little over $1,000 and that Kimberly Saxelby will return for Holiday Pet Portraits early December. And on December 5th the Christmas Boutique and Bake Sale will be held over at City Hall. 3. Veronica reported that Catoberfest was a success, and that 36 kittens were adopted and $1,400 was raised. She also mentioned how the RCAC took in 5 dogs from the Florida Panhandle Shelters that were affected by Hurricane Michael. 4. Barbara stated that City Council member Bill Alexander's retirement party would be held Tuesday November 27th and all proceeds would be donated to the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Center. City Council member Diane Williams's retirement party will be held Monday December 3rd with the proceeds to benefit the Library. C. Public Communication 1. None D. Foundation Business 1. Further development of Action Plan/Check List for future events 2. Plan a Holiday Appeal for a December Fundraiser 3. Database development E. Identification of Items for the Next Meeting 1.
