A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING
AUTHORIZED AGENTS TO OBTAIN FEDERAL FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE PROVIDED BY THE FEDERAL DEPARTMENT
OF HOMELAND SECURITY AND SUB -GRANTED TO THE
CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA
WHEREAS, the City is charged and entrusted with whole community preparedness and
first responder readiness,
WHEREAS, the City is continuously looking for cost effective ways to deliver and receive
training and exercise opportunities to maintain readiness for those first responders,
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga is eligible to receive grant funding from the
Federal Department of Homeland Security for the purpose of training and exercises,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga designates the City Manager, the Fire Chief and the Finance Director as hereby
authorized to execute for and on behalf of the named applicant, a public entity established
under the laws of the State of California, any actions necessary for the purpose of obtaining
federal financial assistance provided by the Federal Department of Homeland Security and sub -
granted through the State of California.
