TELECONFERENCE CONFERENCE LINE (909) 774-3500 PARTICIPANT CODE: 10700400# THE RECENT PUBLIC HEALTH ORDER ISSUED BY THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC FROM FURTHER SPREAD OF THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PROHIBITS PUBLIC GATHERINGS. PURSUANT TO GOVERNOR NEWSOM'S EXECUTIVE ORDERS N-25-20 AND N-29-20, MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ART COMMITTEE AND STAFF MAY PARTICIPATE IN THIS MEETING VIA A TELECONFERENCE. MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC MAY PARTICIPATE AND OFFER COMMENT REMOTELY AS WELL. IF YOU WISH TO MAKE EITHER A GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT OR COMMENT ON A SPECIFIC AGENDA ITEM, REMOTE PUBLIC COMMENT IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS MEETING BY CALLING THE CONFERENCE LINE LISTED ABOVE. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS This is the time and place for the general public to address the Public Art Committee on any item listed on the agenda. State law prohibits the Public Art Committee from addressing any issue not previously included on the Agenda. Public Art Committee may receive testimony and set the matter for a subsequent meeting. Comments are to be limited to three minutes per individual. C. COMMITTEE BUSINESS Cl. Selection of Chair and Vice Chair of the Public Art Committee. C2. Consideration to approve the minutes of April 7, 2020. C3. Update on the status of the Public Art Fund. C4. Discussion of the Public Art Strategic Plan. D. Erika Lewis-Huntley Public Art Committee City of Rancho Cucamonga PUBLIC ART COMMITTEE MINUTES April 7,2020 4:00 p.m. A. CALL TO ORDER The City of Rancho Cucamonga Public Art Committee held a regular meeting on Tuesday,April 7,2020 by teleconference due to Chair Leslie Matamoros called the meeting to order at 4:04 p.m. Present were Committee Members:Linda Bryan,Bryan Dopp,Jaymie Leslie,John L.Machado,Jr.,and Leslie Matamoros. Also present were Erika Lewis-Huntley,Management Analyst III,and Monica Mahoney,Consultant with Gemini Projects. B. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS No public communications were made. C. COMMITTEE BUSINESS C1.Consideration to approve the minutes of September 10,2019. MOTION:Moved by John Machado,seconded by Linda Bryan,to approve meeting minutes of September 10, 2019. C2.Update on the status of the Public Art Fund. Erika Lewis-Huntley,Management Analyst III,provided an update on the status of the Public Art Fund balance and reported$136,289 has been received to date. MOTION:N/A C3.Discussion of the Public Art Strategic Plan. Monica Mahoney,Founding Director of Gemini Projects and consultant for the Public Art Strategic Plan, provided an overview of the project and reviewed outcomes thus far in the process.Monica facilitated a visioning session and interactive discussion to establish the vision,values,and goals of the Public Art Strategic Plan.
