A. Call to Order @ 6:00p.m.
The meeting of the Trails Advisory Committee meeting was held on March 10, 2021. The meeting was
called to order by Mike Smith at 6:00pm.
Committee Members present: Tony Guglielmo, Tony Morales, Tom Tisler and Judith Brennan.
Trails Advisory Committee Staff Coordinator: Mike Smith, Principal Planner
Additional Staff Present: Mena Abdul-Ahad, Assistant Planner.
B. Public Communications
Mike Smith opened the public communications and hearing no comment, closed public
communications.
C. Consent Calendar
C1. Consideration to adopt Regular Meeting Minutes of March 10, 2021.
Motion carried 4-0 vote to adopt the minutes as presented.
D. Discussion Items
D1. LOCATED IN THE 13300 BLOCK OF BANYAN STREET AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
BANYAN STREET AND EAST AVENUE — HECTOR MORENO — A request for a Minor Design
Review to construct a 2,641 square -foot single-family residence with an attached 751.75 square foot
3-car garage in the Very Low Residential (VL) District and the Equestrian Overlay District within the
Etiwanda Specific Plan — APN 0225-191-32. (DRC2020-00438)
Mena Abdul-Ahad, Assistant Planner, presented Committee with a presentation (copy on file).
The Committee accepted the solution that was proposed by staff for the recordation of an easement for trail
purposes in lieu of the actual construction of the trail and associated improvements. They recommended
approval to the Planning Director provided that the easement was located on the south side of the property.
The construction/installation of the trail and associated trail improvements can be deferred to a later date.
