HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 22-27RESOLUTION NO. 22-27 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT MODIFICATION DRC2021-00402, A REQUEST TO MODIFY AN EXISTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL VEHICLE AND INDOOR PERSONAL STORAGE AT AN EXISTING 123,577 SQUARE FOOT RECREATIONAL VEHICLE STORAGE FACILITY WITH AN ADJACENT 273,500 SQUARE FEET OF LEASED SPACE LOCATED WITHIN THE NEG-INDUSTRIAL (NI) ZONE AT 8530 HELLMAN AVENUE AND 9292 9TH STREET; APNS-0209- 012-07 AND 0209-012-06. A.Recitals. 1.Stor'em Self Storage filed an application for the approval of a Conditional Use Permit Modification DRC2021-00402 as described in the title of this Resolution. Hereinafter in this Resolution, the subject Conditional Use Permit Modification request is referred to as "the application." 2. On the 12th day of October 2022, the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the application and concluded said hearing on that date. 3.All legal prerequisites prior to the adoption of this Resolution have occurred. B. Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby found, determined, and resolved by the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as follows: 1. This Commission hereby specifically finds that all of the facts set forth in the Recitals, Part A, of this Resolution are true and correct. 2. Based upon the substantial evidence presented to this Commission during the above-referenced public hearing on October 12, 2022, including written and oral staff reports, together with public testimony, this Commission hereby specifically finds as follows: a. The total project site consists of approximately 11 acres of developed land located south of Arrow Route and west of Hellman Avenue. The primary site (APN 0209- 012-07) is a rectangular shaped parcel developed with buildings designed for indoor RV storage and has a linear dimension, from east to west, of approximately 759 feet and approximately 291 feet from north to south.
