A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND VERIZON
(FORMERLY GTE) TO UNDERGROUND EXISTING OVERHEAD
UTILITIES ALONG HERMOSA AVENUE FROM 4T" STREET TO
350 FEET SOUTH OF 8T" STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga has for its
consideration an Agreement between the City and Verizon (formerly GTE) to underground
existing overhead utilities for the Lower Hermosa Storm Drain and Street Widening
Improvements – Phase 1; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement is for the placement of underground conduit for the
removal/relocation of the existing overhead lines to the new underground conduit along
Hermosa Avenue.
:NO(116,•THEREFORE, .the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
California, hereby resolves that said Agreement to underground existing overhead utilities be
hereby approved and the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign said Agreement on behalf of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, and the City Clerk to attest thereto.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 18th day of October 2000.
