A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA COMM~NDING JORGE GARCIA FOR HIS
CONTRIBUTION AS PLANNING COMMISSIONER ON THE CITY'S
FIRST PLANNING COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Jorge Garcia was appointed to the first Planning
Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga on March 8, 1978; and
WHEREAS, Jorge Garcia has served in that position for two
critical years during the City's formative years; and
WHEREAS, Jorge Garcia has made significant contributions to
the Planning Commission and the City of Rancho Cucamonga by participating
in the development of the City's first General Plan; and
WHEREAS, Jorge Garcia has served as a member of the first
Design Review Board of the City of Rancho Cucamonga and Vice Chairman of
the City's first Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, Jorge Garcia should be commended for his contribution
to the City of Rancho Cucamonga and two years of service with the City's
Planning Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the City Council of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga does hereby declare its sin~ re appreciation to
Jorge Garcia for his two years of dedicated service a member of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga's first Planning Commission.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 6th day of August, 1980.
