A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AGREEING TO THE
APPOINTMENT OF PROPERTY TAX IN ANNEXATION NO. 156
WHEREAS, Section 99 of the Revenue and Taxation Code provides that
no annexation shall become effective until each governmental entity
whose service areas or service responsibilities would be altered by such
jurisdictional change agrees, by resolution, to accept the negotiated
exchange of property tax revenues; and
WHEREAS, the cities of Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga have negotiated
an agreement for the exchange of property tax revenues for that property
known as Annexation No. 156.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga that the apportionment of property tax in annexed areas
between the City of Ontario and the City of Rancho Cucamonga, as shown
in Exhibit "A," is hereby approved.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of February, 1980
