A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA REQUESTING THE CALIFORNIA HIGH-
WAY PATROL TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT
WITHIN THE CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga is newly incorporated and
the consideration and decision on the question of the method of providing
local law enforcement will require lengthy study and negotiations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
SECTION 1: The California Highway Patrol is respectfully requested
to continue to furnish traffic enforcement within the recently incorporated
City of Rancho Cucamonga.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 2nd day of December, 1977.
